Ascension Martial Arts offers four options to help your group reconnect to their bodies and refresh their minds. Our first two offerings are low-key and calming. The second two are designed to get the blood moving and shake things out!
We can host your group Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays any time between 9am and 3pm. Minimum group size is 6 people. All attendees must sign a waiver of liability before participating. Please bring your own bottles of water to help us reduce plastic use!
To confirm your event, we ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit. Balance is due the day of the event. We charge for total attendance, or 90% of your confirmed headcount, whichever is greater. If you need to cancel for any reason, we ask for minimum 24 hour notice.

Does your team need a little reset? You’ve worked hard for your deadline and it’s time to refresh. We’ll start with a short, standing meditation, then move into 8 Qigong movements to balance the body and connect with the breath. Then we’ll work on a short T’ai Chi form, focusing on optimal alignment, posture, balance, and peaceful, slow movements. To finish, we’ll enjoy a slightly longer, seated meditation. All levels of physical ability are welcome!
Wear loose, comfortable clothes, and be prepared to go bare- or sock-footed if possible.
Unwind with Yin Yoga
75 minutes • $25/person
Yin yoga goes deep into the connective tissues of the body in ways that other activities just can’t touch. The supported and long-held postures also offer a quiet and meditative practice, encouraging the body to surrender and release tension. This practice focuses on listening to our bodies, slowing down, and learning where we hold stress. All levels of ability are welcome. A good night’s sleep afterwards is almost guaranteed!
90 minutes • $30/person
Wake up your playful side with movement games. This high-energy workshop will start with warm ups, go over basic exercises with options for different levels of ability, and then it’s game on! We might use oversized dice, playing cards, pool noodles, giant tic tac toe board, and more. Be prepared to run, play, and be silly.
Wear workout clothes and be prepared to go barefoot (preferred) or wear clean, soft-soled shoes. Playing in socks is not recommended.

Ever have one of those days when you want to hit something? Now you can! Learn proper striking technique, including optimal alignment and how to access your power. We start on padded, soft targets, then work our way to wooden boards you can take with you as a souvenir!
